We found a butterfly on the sidewalk near San Elijo Lagoon Nature Center On the first day of September, this year 2024. It couldn’t fly, and its flies and legs look damaged. We gave it some honey, and we decided to take it home for rescue. He has lived until Sep 20. On the last day, he could not drink honey, was not well moved, and stopped living.
